Oregon Jasper, Peridot, CZ, Prong Set, Sterling Silver Necklace, Handmade Chain
I set this very interesting Oregon Jasper cabochon in a partial prong setting, and enhanced the cab with a stone-on-stone setting of a 4mm peridot. This brightened the stone nicely and brought out the green color in the stone. I also added a tube set brown CZ (cubic zirconium) at the top of the stone. The little leaves are hand fabricated and securely soldered.
I’ve secured the pendant on a handmade sterling silver chain that is adjustable from 19 to 20” and finished with a hand forged S hook. Each jump ring is securely soldered for durability.
The sterling has been oxidized and sanded to a satin finish.
The pendant, including the bale is 2" long by 1-1/4" the widest. (50.8mm x 31.75mm)
I’ve used traditional silversmithing techniques to fabricate this beautiful necklace. (Item #P1059)
