Hollow Form Disk, Oolite Fossil, Faceted CZ, Sterling Silver, Artisan Made Necklace
The sterling disk is a little hollow form, acting as the go between for the chain and the main pendant. I don't know exactly what this stone is, it's like a fossilized bristle cone - in that it has the concentric rings. So I think it's a fossilized something.... :) Similar to oolites also. Mystery stone!!
The accent stone is a 3mm faceted champagne colored CZ (cubic zirconium). I’ve used traditional silver-smithing techniques to fabricate this necklace.
The total length of the pendant is about 2-3/4" long by 1" at the widest. (68mm x 25mm)
The fixed sterling silver chain is 24" long and finished with a sterling lobster clasp.
The sterling has been oxidized and sanded to a satin finish.
