Bristlecone Oolite Cabochon, and Biggs Jasper, Stering Silver Necklace, Artisan Made
The bristlecone oolite cabochon is such an unusual, and fairly rare stone. The colors are a pale green background with very dark red orbs. The top, Biggs Jasper cab also has the dark, reddish stripes on a lighter background. The Bristlecone cab is bezel set in fine silver, with a hand twisted wire border.
The pendant itself hangs 2" and is about 3/4" at the widest point. The sterling silver chain is 16" and finished with a sterling lobster clasp.
The metal has been oxidized and then sanded to a satin finish.
