#8 Turquoise and Carnelian

#8 turquoise comes from a mine in Nevada. This is a solid cabochon I cut personally. I've paired the turquoise with a clear carnelian, which accentuates the warmth in the turquoise.
The pendant measures about 2-3/4" long by 1-1/4" at the widest. (70mm x 30mm.) The two sections are constructed separately and then joined with a wrapped wire to a twisted jump ring. This allows for a nice movement to the pendant.
The sterling silver chain is adjustable from 22 to 24". I've added a different chain style at a couple places to add some interest to the chain.
The sterling has been oxidized and then sanded to a satin finish.
